Conformation Class Descriptions

Puppy Sweepstakes:

3 months and over, but under 6 mo. dogs
6 mo. and over, but under 9 mo. dogs
9 mo. and over, but under 12 mo. dogs
3 months and over, but under 6 mo. bitches
6 mo. and over, but under 9 mo. bitches
9 mo. and over, but under 12 mo. bitches

First place winners in each class will compete for Best Puppy in Sweepstakes

Regular Judging:

Puppy dog, 6 months and over, but under 9 months
Puppy dog, 9 months and over, but under 12 months
Novice Dog (dog has not won 3 1' place awards in previous shows)
American Bred Dogs (Bred and born in the U.S.)
Foreign Bred PM (Imported from another country)
Bred by Exhibitor (Person showing dog is also the breeder and owner)
Field Dogs (Dog has prized in a NAVHDA tests)
Open Dog (Open to any dog)
Veteran Dog (Aged 8 and over)
Same classes for Bitches.

The first place winners in each class will compete for Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex.

Non-Regular Classes:

Stud dog and Brood Bitch: :
Dog or bitch is shown together with 2 offspring and judged on the merits of the offspring.
